Who we are

Oakcroft Organics is currently run by Valentina Volikakis and Tristan Hine. They started their farming journey on an organic farm in southern Norway during the pandemic of 2020. There they fell in love with vegetable production and growing food ethically and organically and decided to leave their previous careers behind and pursue a life in organic food production.

After a year in Norway, they returned to the UK and eventually ended up in Australia. Over the years, they worked on more than fifteen different farms, all with the intention of learning from as many experts as possible. They produced food for market, chefs and wholesale and gained experience with many different practices of organic farming.

Eventually, in 2024, they decided that it was time to run their own farm. That’s when they came across Oakcroft Organic Market Garden, located just outside of Malpas, Cheshire and fell in love with it. Since then, they have taken on the site and have been growing vegetables for their local community.
